Terms of Use

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use Cozy Stitch. You must provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and use only accounts you are authorized to access.

You may use Cozy Stitch only for lawful purposes. You may not disrupt the service, bypass security or access controls, or upload or distribute unlawful content. These restrictions do not limit activities that applicable law expressly permits.

You keep ownership of the pattern files, progress data, tags, and other content you upload or create. You must have the rights needed to upload and use that content. Uploading a pattern does not give you permission to share or redistribute a designer’s work.

You give Cozy Stitch permission to host, process, convert, display, back up, and transmit your content as needed to provide the service. Keep your original pattern files and export any data you need before requesting account deletion.

Our handling of personal information, including retention after deletion, is described in the Privacy Policy.

Eligible new accounts may receive a free trial. Creating an account or allowing that account trial to expire does not by itself create a paid subscription or charge you. Trial eligibility is limited to prevent repeated free trial use.

Paid access requires a separate subscription purchase through Stripe checkout. Review the price, currency, billing interval, applicable taxes, and payment terms shown at checkout before purchasing. A purchase during an account trial follows the payment terms shown at checkout; it is not a promise of an additional free billing period.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the selected interval until canceled. Charges are processed by Stripe.

Cancel future renewals from your billing page. Unless you receive a refund, request earlier account deletion, or applicable law requires otherwise, paid access generally continues until the end of the paid billing period. Canceling a subscription does not delete your account or automatically request a refund. See our Refund Policy.

We may change plans, prices, and features. Changes will not retroactively increase a charge already paid or reduce access already paid for during the current billing period, except where necessary for security, legal, or operational reasons.

Self-service account deletion is unavailable. Cancel your subscription on the billing page before requesting account deletion, then email [email protected], preferably from the address associated with your account. If you cannot sign in or cancel, contact us for help.

We handle deletion requests manually and may need to verify account ownership. We remove your sign-in identity, personal application account data, and uploaded files from active systems when processing the request. Account deletion ends access; it does not itself create a refund entitlement.

Backup copies may remain for up to one year. Support records and limited billing, security, and trial-eligibility records may remain as described in our Privacy Policy. The subscription-cancellation step does not limit any personal-data rights you have under applicable law.

Imports and conversions can be incomplete or inaccurate, particularly for scanned or unusual pattern files. Review the result before relying on it and keep your originals.

We work to keep Cozy Stitch reliable, but maintenance, outages, provider failures, and security events can interrupt service. We may restrict or suspend access where needed to address misuse, security threats, or violations of these terms.

Cozy Stitch is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that every pattern will import correctly.

To the extent permitted by law, Cozy Stitch is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost opportunities, or loss of data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded, or limits mandatory consumer rights.

These terms are governed by Texas law and applicable United States federal law, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. If you are a consumer outside Texas, you retain the mandatory protections and rights to bring claims that apply in your place of residence.

We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date identifies this version. Any changes remain subject to applicable notice and consent requirements.
